As Initiation is given completely free it comes with absolutely no requirements and responsibilities. However, if the Initiate has realized the enormity of what they have received then they may consider adopting a code of conduct that reflects their State of Consciousness.
The revelation of Light and Sound was historically rare but due to widespread negativity and materialism it has been necessary to redress the balance with vast amounts of Spiritual Energy. The Initiate can therefore play their part by sharing their knowledge with those around them and help guide others to Meditate.
If people are to take what you are saying seriously you need to demonstrate the qualities associated with spirituality. You will be expected to show kindness, care and a supportive attitude towards your family, friends, colleagues and neighbours.
We have not been given the task to compete with other groups or religions. Quite the reverse; we have been charged with a Mission to unite people from all faiths and backgrounds. The Light and Sound Initiation is open to everybody. There is nothing wrong with an Initiate remaining a member of a previous group or attending religious ceremonies. What is important is that we all look for the common ground. At the same time there is no harm in entering into intelligent debate.
It is natural for most people to hang on to their beliefs; we are not here to convert them through evangelism. Our duty, should we decide to adopt it, is to merely give people the same chance as we were given.
When you meet people in your daily lives make sure you let them know that you Meditate and tell them how important it is to you. That is all you need to do, plant the seed and water it from time to time.
You will see some of the Enlightened Teachers devoting their lives to spreading the Path by conducting Initiations. If you wish, there is much work needed to ensure everything goes smoothly. Help may be required with transport, publicity, providing accommodation, booking a Meditation room and supplying food and drink etc. The new Initiates will also need support after the Adept has left. This work is so important if we are to maintain a strong and stable group.
One of the greatest Gifts we have been given is to be able to listen. We can listen to the people around us, listen to are own thoughts and intuition and be open to listen to the Spiritual Hierarchy, should they decide to speak to us. This will ensure that we serve this amazing Path to the best of our ability.
Finally, there is the responsibility to yourself. It is wise to consider your lifestyle, your diet and most importantly, your health. Remember your life is your responsibility, so make wise decisions and choices that promote peace of mind and wellbeing. This is so important if you are going to maximise your ability to Meditate on the Divine Energies of Light and Sound.
