Sitting down to attain Second Initiation for me was running the full gamut of human emotions from frustration, self-doubt, bliss, panic, astonishment and everything in between.

As my mind ran around chasing its own tail looking for States of no mind; the sound sat with me patiently each day. Whilst on the cushion meditating, falling asleep, watching a movie, driving to work. It was always there and never gave up, as it is here with me now.

The Light to me is this majestic alien being that has the power to show me sights so beautiful and astonishing that it makes my heart beat in my chest.

It’s an amazing double team that that revealed that I was not the body, a mind and all the experiences conditioned by and appearing as this false belief. My true Self is the witnessing and Knowing presence in which everything arises. A vast, formless state of Being that creation cannot touch and death cannot extinguish. It is my most intimate Being without location or limit.

The State allows the human to be human but without being trapped by the illusion of the smaller self.

My advice to anyone going for Second Initiation is be positive, persistent and without expectations.
